Dear Assessors:

Two Iowa Department of Revenue recommended forms – the Board of Review Petition and the Board of Review Notice  – have changed as a response to the creation of the Property Assessment Appeal Board. Language was added to both forms to reference the board. It is particularly important that the Board of Review Notice include the information about the Property Assessment Appeal Board.

Both forms have been added to the Department of Revenue Web site at www.state.ia.us/tax/forms/propboardreview.html
