The Iowa Board of Nursing now has a listserv that will automatically send you an email any time that a new or updated agenda is published. The email will include a copy of the agenda. If you would like to be added to this list you can send a blank email to:
join-IBON_AGENDAS@lists.ia.gov.

Enforcement Page Updated on the Website
The Enforcement portion of the Iowa Board of Nursing Website has been updated. A complaint form has been developed as a convenient method for filing a complaint. There are also instructions and many information pages. Take a look and let us know your thoughts and comments.
New Link to Disciplinary Documents
The board has now set up a searchable repository of public disciplinary documents, so that the public can now access this material directly. The repository includes only those case documents that are public record.
You can search by license number, licensee's name, or the case number. And you can convert a case file to a pdf file, so that you can scroll through the document.
Searches can also be done on any text in the database, but the database is a large one, so be prepared for this to take some time.
