Legislative Candidate Information
This page contains information of interest for candidates running for a Senate or House of Representatives seat in the Iowa General Asembly.
Effective January 1, 2010, all statements and reports filed by new committees for state office must be filed electronically and effective January 1, 2012, all statements and reports filed by all committees for state office must be filed electronically.
The next campaign disclosure report is due May 19, 2012 for candidates on the ballot in 2012. The period covers through May 14.
Candidates not on the 2012 ballot, your report is due Janauary 19, 2013 and covers January 1, 2012 to December 31, 2012.
(NOTE: Mandatory electronic filers must submit the report by 4:30.)
Candidates: You are the only person who receives reminders and/or notifications from the Board. However, we will email a courtesy copy to your treasurer if you provide us with an email address.
