Point of Entry Team
The Single Point of Entry Team established by the Legislature
and the Governor in HF 451, in part: "…..The general assembly finds
that access to information regarding all components of the long-term
living resources system is necessary to empower consumers in planning,
evaluating, and making decisions to appropriately meet their individual
long-term living needs. This access should be provided through a
single point of entry into an integrated, seamless system that facilitates
navigation of the variety of private and public resources available,
minimizes service fragmentation, reduces duplication of administrative
paperwork and procedures, enhances individual choice, supports informed
decision making, and increases the cost-effectiveness of long-term
living services and support systems…"
