under the Older Americans Act, the Department of Elder Affairs has
a Legal Assistance Developer to develop & coordinate a legal

older Iowans. The legal assistance program is implemented in collaboration

the state, including the Legal Hotline for Older Iowans.
The current
Legal Assistance Developer is Deanna Clingan-Fischer, who can be
reached at (515) 725-3319 or by e-mail at Deanna.Clingan@iowa.gov.
The Legal Assistance Developer also responds to inquiries, provides
training and educational sessions and reviews and advocates for
