On November 1, 2001, the Governor issued an Executive Order reducing all state appropriations by 4.3%. The state aid reductions in school district foundation aid and AEA special education support services foundation aid have been provided by Lisa Oakley, Department of Management. The funding for the technology, school improvement/class size reduction block grants were restored in the November 8, 2001 legislative session. The impact of the community colleges 4.3% reduction was adjusted by appropriating an additional $1,000,000 in state aid. Additional information will be provided with the November state aid payments.
