The Iowa School-to-Work Office is pleased to announce the release of our new Iowa Risk Management Guide for Work-Site Learning Environments. The main focus of the guide is to ensure all parties involved are aware of rules and regulations surrounding student employment. The guide includes three primary sections: legislation supporting work-site learning experiences for students, risk management tools (including a checklist), and guidelines for working within the Federal and State Child Labor Laws and Fair Labor Standards.
