training program focusing on helping participants (1) develop awareness that there
are students in homeless situations, (2) gain an understanding of the challenges
that these students and their families face, and (3) This training manual
includes a Campus Self-Assessment Guide. A copy of this training package
has been distributed by the State Coordinator to Iowa Area Education Agencies and
teacher training colleges and universities to be placed in their lending
library.
