	Language Translation Library
	The Iowa Department of Education and TransACT Communications, Inc., have collaborated to establish a powerful technology tool designed to enhance multilingual communication with the limited- and non-English-speaking parent community your district serves. This comprehensive online service is being offered to your district at NO COST. The Iowa EduPortal® Translation Library(tm) is a comprehensive, web-based subscription service providing access for school administrators, educators and staff to a comprehensive collection of legal and policy documents commonly used in school districts across the country. The Translation Library contains more than 60 documents translated into at least 22 languages. One person from each district has received specific directions for enrolling in the Translation Library. Once enrollment for the district is complete, district staff interested in using the Translation Library will be offered a username and password, and access to the system.
