The Our Kids Summer Seminars for Educators of English Language Learners (ELLs) will be held August 7-11 at the Iowa State Center (Scheman Building) in Ames, Iowa. Descriptions of the six seminar strands are given below:

• Our Kids I, II, and III: For K-12 classroom teachers, ESL teachers, paraprofessionals, administrators, special ed teachers, and anyone who works with ELLs in a classroom setting. Registration deadline: May 15

• Dual Language: For schools currently with dual language (English/Spanish) programs, schools that will be implementing dual language programs, and schools that are considering implementing dual language programs. Registration deadline: May 20

• Teacher Quality: For teacher educators and teacher candidates from institutions of higher learning who are participating in the Teacher Quality Enhancement Grant for Diverse Learners (ELLs). Registration deadline: May 15

• Math: For AEA math consultants. Registration deadline: May 15

• Science: For AEA science consultants and selected teacher teams from their areas. Interested teachers should contact their AEA science consultant about joining their area's team. Registration deadline: May 15.
